This is a semester long experience, during which the candidates will submit a portfolio demonstrating skills and knowledge linked to classroom environment, classroom management, lesson preparation, and meeting the needs of diverse learners. Candidates will also create a videotape of at least one lesson accompanied by a reflective narrative. The candidate will submit summative and formative evaluation criteria and documentation from the principal. The college supervisor will make a minimum of one on-site visit. This course is required for all employed licensure-only candidates seeking student teaching equivalency.
